About This Service
Adolescence is genuinely hard, and teens often need a trusted adult who is not a parent. Melissa builds real rapport with teenagers — meeting them where they are, respecting their autonomy, and helping them navigate identity, pressure, anxiety, and the emotional intensity of these years. Teens frequently say sessions feel more like a real conversation than a clinical appointment.
What We Address
Anxiety and social pressure, depression and mood changes, identity and self-esteem, school stress, friendship and relationship challenges, family conflict, social media concerns, and self-harm concerns.
Our Approach
Direct, collaborative, and teen-driven. Melissa avoids clinical jargon and creates space where teens genuinely want to engage. Confidentiality is respected within legal and safety limits, explained clearly from the start.
Who This Is For
Teens ages 13–17. Parents are involved in goal-setting and periodic updates while the teen’s privacy within individual sessions is maintained and respected.
